"Your website was the inspiration to create a three hole course at the farm this summer. We call it SheepShot and it brought me back to golf after a 35-year separation. My kids and I had the time of our life and so did their friends. Sadly we bulldozed the course when we did a major landscaping project, but we intend to restore it and hope to play golf again in late 2004. This is how the game should be. I couldn't agree more. Thanks." - L.C., 12/15/03 Calls for Course Submissions - 2009

We now have a very embarrassingly out of date list of Pasture Golf Courses that you can print! Updating that is next on the project list, really.

Membership in the Pasture Golfers' Aficionado Society is yours in exchange for your Pasture Golf Course nomination and the course's appearance on First read our Pasture Golf Course Criteria. As added incentive to submit a course, we are so proud to be able to offer a free, tacky golf gift for your trouble!

We're looking for your suggestions. If you know of a golf course that meets the pasture golf criteria let us know about it!

Some of you have asked for a printable list of pasture golf courses. Click here for our current index in a printable form (.pdf requires Adobe Acrobat. If you don't have Adobe Acrobat Reader on your computer, you can download it free from Adobe). Check back for updates. Thanks, again, to everyone who has sent us notes about the courses they know and love, and their memories of playing great golf pasture style!

If you would like to submit information about a pasture golf course that you enjoy, please click on the "at home on the range" logo below. It will link to the submission form. Please provide as much detail as you can in filling out the form, including contributor information.

Nominations will be considered by our resident panel of pasture golfers for suitability before courses are added to the database of pasture golf courses and featured on this website. Remember, pasture golf designation is not an insult but a compliment that we pay to courses that reflect the style and character of original, Scottish links courses. We look forward to hearing from you!
