Spectacular high desert scenery makes for enjoyable golf at Cherokee Springs
Golf Course near Hatch, Utah. If you are a sea-level golfer, you might
find yourself overestimating the wind force. At about 7,200 feet elevation,
your golf game could become a study in physics as you figure out what
it takes to hit into the wind. Great view from Hole #6 Tee. Here is where
the course turns around and now it's all the way back into the wind. Look
for the water hazard near the green.

trip to Bryce and Zion National Parks. Beautiful setting. Fast, fun
course to play. |

Hole #1 - Water conserving course minimizes established fairways to landing
zone areas, leaving open areas rough.
The trick is hitting the groomed bits.

shot if you don't have the club to carry the mid-way rough into the wind.
